On Sunday 5 March we’re delighted to welcome Anna Sulan Masing, food writer, academic, podcast host, and magazine founder and editor to Real Magic.
Anna publishes CHEESE, a magazine celebrating one of the greatest things in life, ROT, an exploration of all things fermentation and fungi, as well as hosting the podcasts Sourced and A Taste of Place. We’ll be getting together to discuss food origins and culture and how she finds the stories for her writing and podcasts. We’ll be exploring her interest in fermentation and fungi – one shared by many of our Real Magic regulars – and why she thinks telling cheese stories is so important she started a whole magazine about it.

It promises to be a really fascinating afternoon with some great discussion. Tickets are £5 and the event starts at 2pm. There will be a chance to buy Anna’s magazine and a special selection of cheese and mushroom literature will be available on the day.
