We’re delighted to be welcoming eminent historian and author Helen Castor to the village to discuss her latest book on the reigns of Richard II and Henry IV, whose lives were as intertwined as they were increasingly opposed. The Eagle and the Hart contains all the epic drama associated with medieval court politics and conflict, combined with a distinctly contemporary echo in the tensions between tyrany, power and populism.
