Small Things Like These is the award winning 110 page masterpiece by Claire Keegan. It tells the story of Bill Furlong, a coal and timber merchant in 1985 Ireland, in a small Catholic town controlled by the Church. It’s a tale of quiet heroism, compassion and what it means to be human.
