We are kicking off our Real Magic weekend with a special party at the Legion. We are absolutely honoured to welcome our very special guest headliner, Kate Stables from The is the Kit to Wendover. We are huge fans and have been talking about trying to make this one happen for a little while, so it is amazing the stars have aligned for our first Real Magic Weekend!

We could not wish for better support on the night – hero of bookshops everywhere and book evangelist Robin Ince is swooping in to remind us all why books are so brilliant and beautiful. He is co-presenter of the award-winning BBC Radio 4 show and podcast, The Infinite Monkey Cage. He has toured his award-winning stand-up across the world, both solo and with his radio double-act partner, Professor Brian Cox. He is the author of I’m a Joke and So Are You, The Importance of Being Interested and Bibliomaniac.

And musical support comes in the shape of local band Glockenspiel who played for us last year and blew everyone away with their memorising brand of instrumental-jazz-motorik-ambient-postrock. They are wicked.
